DAY 1

ITINERARY DAY 1 Cape Town/ Stellenbosch > Oudtshoorn

Route 62 - Along South Africa's famous country road you'll capture the beauty of high mountains, twisting passes, rugged Karoo plains, vineyards and orchards. We will also stop for a drink at a famous county pub. Ostrich Farm- Ostrich farm tour - where the more daring among us can ride the ostriches (must way weight less than 75kg). Stand on ostrich eggs and 'meet the world's most friendly female ostrich, Betsie. Elephant experience- An opportunity to interact & feed elephants. Get to know these gentle giants by name, feel the texture of their skin, scratch behind their ears and sit on an elephant's knee. (optional extra) Oudtshoorn - A town in the semi-desert Klein Karoo, offering a more harsh kind of beauty as the setting sun paints the Swartberg and Outeniqua mountains in shades of pink. We will overnight in Oudtshoorn.

DAY 2

ITINERARY DAY 2 Oudtshoorn > Jeffreys Bay

Canoe on the Wilderness lagoon and watch the bird life while we glide over the water. Knysna - This popular holiday town with a lively buzz lies between forested mountains and the sea, curving around a big lagoon. We stop at The Heads for lunch, where the sea crashes through two massive sandstone cliffs. Nature's Valley- One of the most beautiful beaches in the world. We stop at this wide, sandy beach for a coffee break and swim in the Indian ocean. Jeffreys Bay - Stay overnight at a backpackers that is situated right on the beach in Jeffrey's Bay. Kitchen Windows - an awesome surf break for first timers and pro's - is a mere trot down the dune; and swimming is a stone's throw away.

DAY 3

ITINERARY DAY 3 Jeffreys Bay > Stellenbosch/ Cape Town

Surfing and Shopping - Go for an early morning surfing or just chill out. The backpackers rents out surf boards and wetsuits. Leaving town we will stop at the the Billabong, Rib Curl and Quicksilver factory shops for bargain hunting to get excellent deals. Bloukrans Bungy Jump - Face your fear and jump from the world's highest bungy jump or watch the adrenaline junkies as they scream through the air. (Optional extra) Drive along the N2 to arrive back late evening in Cape Town / Stellenbosch (±10:00pm).
