Boat cruise to Duiker Island - HOUTBAY

BOAT CRUISE TO DUIKER ISLAND = R 42-00 / R60-00 pp

On the 3 day - and 2 day HOTSPOTS2C Western Cape tour , you have an option to go on a 35 minute cruise to Duiker Island just of the coast of Hout Bay. At the island you can view thousands of Cape Fur Seals in their natural environment. There is also glass viewing ports at the bottom of the boat and during good visibility you are able to get a first hand view of the kelp forests and abundant sea life.

Personal Cheetah encounter - SPIER

On the 3 day HOTSPOTS2C Western Cape WEEKENDER tour we visit the Cheetah Outreach Programme at Spier Estate, Stellenbosch.

Spier has made land available to a group of hand-raised cheetahs in the care of the Cheetah Outreach Programme. Learn more about these incredible cats from a distance, or get up close and personal and even step inside an enclosure.

Entrance donations help fund the Cheetah Outreach Programme. Have a personal encounter with cheetahs at additional charges: Touch a adult cheetah or 'play' with their young cheetah cubs.

Speed Boat Cruise

On the 3 day HOTSPOTS2C Western Cape WEEKENDER tour , you can start your 2nd day on the tour with an optional speed-boat cruise. Fly over the water while you take in the perfect view of the long, uninterrupted beach. On most days, whales come right up to the boat.

From Mossel Bay during the 4 day Garden Route tour, you have an option to see the Big Five (excluding leopard). Botlierskop is a well stocked, free roaming private game reserve, which gives visitors the opportunity to view African wildlife from the safety of 4x4 vehicles, in its natural habitat. RhinoΓÇÖs, lions, buffalo, giraffe, zebra, eland, elephants and many more species of animals make up a total of more than 1800 animals.

Bungy Jump | Cable Slide | Bridge Walk - BLOU KRANS

Bloukrans Bungy Jump/ Cable Slide or Bridge Walk ΓÇô On the 4day Garden Route tour you will be able to face your fear at Blou Krans; and jump from the WorldΓÇÖs highest bungy jump. You will be secured in a full body harness and proceed to walk along a specially designed catwalk (216m long), which is suspended beneath the road surface, which will then lead you to the top of the arch - 216 meters above the Bloukrans River.

Here you will be given final instructions by highly experienced staff, a countdown and off you go! Bloukrans utilizes pendulum bungy technology ensuring you the smoothest, most comfortable bungy jump possible.

CABLE SLIDE R 180-00 pp

The Cable slide is the newest adventure at Bloukrans! A 200 m cable slide out onto the archway of the bridge! The quickest way to get to your bungy jump destination. But if the bungy is not for you this is a great alternative adrenalin rush all on its own.

BRIDGE WALK R 90-00 pp

Bloukrans is the highest and largest bridge in Africa; the third highest in the world and the largest single span concrete arch bridge in the world. Walk along a spectacular and specially designed catwalk to the top of the arch from where you look out over the Gorge to the mountains and the sea in the distance. The Bridge walk is the perfect way to watch the live bungy show up close and personal and is an ideal alternative to jumping off!

Elephant Sanctuary - PLETTENBERG BAY

During the Garden Route tour we will have an optional stop at The Elephant Sanctuary that is home to six African elephants. An experienced guide will introduce you to theelephants, and you will learn about their backgrounds, behaviours, characters and more while being able to touch, feel, feed, interact and walk trunk-in-hand with the elephants in a beautiful indigenous forest setting. The program are fully guided and guest numbers are limited to ensure personal attention and maximum elephant interaction for each guest which makes for a truly enriching experience.

ELEPHANT BACK RIDE R 650-00 pp

This includes the full Trunk-in-Hand program followed up by an approximately 15 minute ride - a privilege historically reserved for kings! It is a truly amazing experience to ride these magnificent animals. Long pants and closed shoes are recommended.
